The book Guts is like a outdoor biography. All people could read this book. But i recommend that people that like the outdoors or intresting survival biographies would like this book the most. It is a great book with lots of intesting things happening. I really enjoyed reading this book because i liked reading about what gary/brian did. But there were some things i didnt like. One thing i didnt like was that in some parts of the story it got a little boring. But besides that the story had a very intresting topic. I would recommend this book to a friend. In the book Guts there are not many characters. The main character in the story is Gary paulson. He talks about the stories behind the book hatchet and the brian books and things he had to do to survive or what you had to do to survive. In the story Guts Gary is the protagonist because hes the main character and the “Good Guy”. There really is no antagonist because he doesn’t go against anybody. But id say that the wild outdoors is the antagonist because he you have to fight the wild to survive.
